Enrolment

Our centre caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
Enrolment forms must be completed prior to a child commencing at our centre.
A non-refundable $10.00 administration fee is required to cover the cost of registration and a deposit of $60 is required on making a booking. The $60 is put in your account but is not refundable if you cancel your booking prior to commencement.
Information on the enrolment form is of great importance to us and is kept with the strictest of confidence.

To ensure that the enrolment of your child is a smooth transition, we are happy for you to bring your child in for orientation sessions once you have made your booking, to meet the staff and familiarise them with the centre. These arrangements can be made with the Director at the time of enrolment.

Our staff understands how difficult it can be for parents/guardians to leave their child. When your child begins at the centre feel free to contact us during the day to see how your child is doing.

PLEASE NOTE PARENTS ARE REQUIRED TO GIVE THE DIRECTOR TWO WEEKS NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF CARE ARRANGEMENTS.

Our centre is registered with Commonwealth Department of Health and Family Services and therefore are able to facilitate Childcare Assistance to parents. The commonwealth Government provides assistance for families to help with the cost of child care. All families (except non residents) are entitled to fee relief; therefore you need to contact the Family Assistance Office. The family Assistance Office will then send you and the centre a copy of your fee relief percentage/s on an assessment notice. Our Childcare Benefit number is 407279645K. Please remember that you then claim for any out of pocket expenses when you put in your yearly tax return.

Parents with full time bookings and permanent part time bookings are required to pay for public holidays and any absences that fall on their booked days, such as illnesses and general absences. There are no make up days.

Families are eligible for up to 30 days of absence per year. An absence may be defined as: a sick day, holiday or occasional absence. Once the 30 days allowable absence have been taken full fees are required to be paid by the parent/guardian, as the childcare benefit cannot be claimed for any additional days. If your child has been absent for more than two weeks without notification, we are unable to hold your child’s position.
